The goal of our security staff is to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for our guests. As a security staff employee, in addition to taking care of our guests we should also strive to make sure our fellow employees are sufficiently taken care of. We do not work as a crowd control, but rather crowd management which consists of getting compliance through a combination of assistance, persuasion and deterrence.

The security staff at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater is not the preconceived, stereotypical bouncer type, but rather consists of many types of individuals with varying backgrounds. Our security staff covers all areas throughout the venue from the parking lots, to the public seating areas, to the backstage compound. Our security staff is trained for all procedures and work at many different posts throughout the season.

As a reminder: All security staff must be at least 21 years of age, are required to attend a security class through the St. Louis County Police Department, and under go a thorough background investigation.
